The rise of video in content marketing

If you’re in content marketing today, you have to be able to adapt to any and all platforms, including video.

In’s Top 10 content marketing trends feature every leader needs to know in 2015 published at the end of last year, Dave Kerpen, CEO of Likeable Local and chairman of Likeable Media is quoted about the rise of multimedia in content marketing. He says: “Facebook and LinkedIn’s increased emphasis on video will motivate more companies to create and distribute videos in their content marketing.”

The growing pressure to produce video hasn’t passed South African companies by. I suspect that more and more content marketers, journalists and PR workers will be spending time in front of the camera.
